Accustomed to the White House seeking AIPAC’s approval of the new appointees to the US administration – Ehud Barak, the Defense Minister of the Zionist entity has expressed deep concern over the appointment of Dr. Hakan Fidan 42 as chief of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT), whom Barak regards a friend of the Islamic Republic.Dr. Hakan Fidan, who replaces Emre Taner (2005-2010), the outgoing head of MIT, was born in Ankara. He served in Turkish Army as a non-commissioned officer during 1986-2001. During that he also served with NATO in Germany. He received his bachelor degree in political science from University of Maryland and Masters and PhD from Bilkent University (Ankara). He also studied at International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. Dr. Hakan Fidan has accompanied PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan and FM Ahmet Davutoglu to several capitals as chief consultant on foreign policy matters.
