TULKAREM, (PIC)-- Zionist settlers burnt five dunums of Palestinian land cultivated with wheat in Khirbat Hamam, north of Tulkarem, eyewitnesses said on Tuesday.

They added that two buses loaded with settlers from Al-Khalil district arrived to the area and occupied the house of Mohammed Al-Jalul for three hours.

They restricted movement of the family members and wreaked havoc in the house and when they got out of it they started fire in the family fields before fleeing the area, the witnesses said.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinian citizens in various West Bank areas at dawn Tuesday.

Locals said that the citizens were detained in Nablus and Ramallah villages.

They also said that IOF troops raided the house of Azmi Bani Ode, 35, in Tamun village, Tobas district, and violently searched it.

They added that the soldiers deliberately fired bullets and stun grenades during the raid that ended with arresting Bani Ode to terrorize citizens.

NABLUS, (PIC)-- Savage Israeli settlers on Sunday went on the rampage in the Palestinian village of Jalud, south of Nablus, and torched more than 20 dunums of agricultural crops.

Local sources said the settlers came from Ahya settlement that was established illegally on Palestinian lands, and waged their attack under military protection.

It was not the first time Israeli settlers attacked this village, where they stormed it months ago and sabotaged the citizens' agricultural property.

In the old city of Al-Khalil, Israeli settlers on Sunday evening flooded with water the house of a Palestinian citizen while he and his family were not home.

Eyewitnesses said that the house of Abd Sidr was deliberately flooded by Israeli settlers living in the Jewish neighborhood in Beit Hadassah, which led to the destruction of all furniture inside.

In separate incidents, Israeli gunboats at an early hour Sunday opened fire at Palestinian fishermen off the shores of Rafah city in the southern part of Gaza without any reported casualties.

An Israeli military force on the same day tried to infiltrate into Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younis, but the Palestinian resistance attacked this force with mortar shells forcing it to retreat.

Another military force composed of troops and bulldozers moved, aimed gunfire, on Monday evening a distance of 300 meters into Al-Nahda area , east of Rafah, and embarked on flattening the lands, local sources told the PIC.

On the same day at dawn, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 12 Palestinians from different West Bank areas at the pretext they are wanted.
