OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Detained Hamas leader Abdul Khaleq Al-Natshe described the return to direct negotiations between the PA in Ramallah and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) as "cloning" of previous failed experiences over 18 years.
Natshe in a statement leaked from his Israeli prison cell on Thursday said that the negotiations process with the IOA only brought about an authority that offers municipal services to citizens and security services to the IOA.
He urged all Palestinian factions in the PLO that declared refusal of the direct talks to turn their words into deeds and pressure for an end to the series of concessions offered by the Palestinian negotiator.
The Hamas leader opined that the Zio-American keenness on resuming talks aimed at beautifying the image of Israel and impeding inter-Palestinian reconciliation.
He pointed out that the government of Netanyahu had imposed its conditions prior to the negotiation process by rejecting (the extension of) settlement freeze. He called in this respect on the PA in Ramallah to respect its previous pledges not to go to the negotiations without a halt to settlement building.
