BEIRUT, (PIC)-- Hundreds of Palestinians, Lebanese and European activists commemorated on Friday the Sabra and Shatila massacre in which thousands of Palestinian refugees were murdered in cold blood.
Activists, dozens of who travelled from Europe to participate in marking the gruesome massacre, marched the streets and visited the victims' graves.
Nawal Abu Rudaina, a survivor of the massacre, said that it was a real catastrophe in which I lost everything I have in life, my whole family.
She added that Sabra and Shatila was one of the biggest massacres committed by Zionists against the Palestinians and it was committed in similar circumstances as those of the Nakba in 1948 as it was committed after a Zionist military victory and by gangs to which the occupation denies any links.

The massacre lasted for 62 hours; children, women and men were killed mercilessly, young women were raped by a militia which was trained, armed and sent in by the Israeli occupation forces.
Twenty eight years after the massacre the victims are still waiting for justice.
