[ 13/02/2011 - 10:39 AM ] Al-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Hamas lawmaker Nizar Ramadan said the victorious Egyptian revolution was not narcissistic as some people portrayed, but it was an uprising against tyrants and oppressors.
"The victory of the people's revolution that happened in Egypt is more like the French revolution. This uprising will make further changes in the middle east if it is used in a better way," Ramadan added in a press statement to the Palestinian information center (PIC).
"We salute the Egyptian people's revolution, congratulate them on their great victory and wish that Egypt and its new leadership would be an exemplar of the desired change in the Arab world," he stressed.
"The experience of Egypt should be a lesson to all who wants to learn through respecting the people's will and preserving their capabilities and protecting their national achievements," the lawmaker underlined.
