[ 09/04/2011 - 04:06 PM ] TOBAS, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) razed tents and other installations in Khirbat Sumra village in the northern Jordan Valley on Saturday, local sources reported.
Deputy council chairman of Bedouin villages in the area Mahyub Abu Amer said that the soldiers escorted two huge bulldozers into the village and levelled all its tents and installations.
This is the second time the Israeli forces destroy the village.
In another incident, the IOF soldiers beat up a palestinian youth in Al-Khalil, medical sources said, adding that he was hospitalized in moderate condition.
Local sources said that the soldiers used batons and rifle butts in beating Fares Al-Barziya, adding that no reasons were known for the assault.
