GAZA, (PIC)-- A Palestinian working in collecting gravel was killed on Tuesday morning when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened tank fire at workers in northern Gaza, medical sources reported.
The spokesman for medical services, Adham Abu Salmiya, told the PIC that paramedics managed to retrieve the body of Mohammed Shalha, 21, from an area near Beit Lahia in northern Gaza Strip.
PIC reporter said that IOF was shelling northern Gaza using artillery and tanks. Earlier reports said that two workers were wounded in the shelling.
