Fadi, this is ready to publish
Rami Abdul-Rahman, seen here ordering a pizza from “Chico’s of Coventry” as an MI6 agent lovingly photographs him for some inter-departmental article about the difference between misinformation and disinformation.

Since we started publishing as Syrian Perspective in 2011, this mustachioed and balding weasel (gee, sounds like Ziad except for the mustelan reference), has been a pack leader for that rare category of shameless charlatan and unabashed four-flusher inhabiting the rarefied elevations of British emigre offices where only the most disreputable scoundrels are recruited to serve the interests of the most disreputable of scoundrels.  We nominate this swindler for the TONY BLAIR LIAR OF THE YEAR AWARD with no trepidation whatsoever – we do so with the knowledge that our act is sanctioned by our readership and the Prince of Lies himself, Tony Blair.
To be nominated for such a prize means you are a person of the same rank as Judy Woodruff, King Abdullah of Jordan, Victoria Nuland, John Kerry and many others who have distinguished themselves for their ability to tell outrageous lies with a straight face and to do so sometimes with a sense of solemnity reserved for eulogies, banquets, honoraria, press conferences, nightly news reports, and the like.  Lying on this level of expertise means you are recognized by your peers as a professional flam-flam man, a poseur par excellence and a “made man”, for it is through the act of misrepresenting everything that one reaches positivism’s ultimate logical cul de sac: a world of complete unreliability.  If it were not for the fork-tongued Tony Blair, Mr. Abdul-Rahman would receive a nomination for the Bertrand Russell/Heisenberg Uncertainty Award in that his proclamations have consistently defied the laws of physics.
Blair, seen in this iconic photo, his yawning maw agape as though to collect every possible hooey-bearing flea, has given his name to an eponymous award recognized as the only true acknowledgment of man’s quest for perfection in the quintessential, coruscating, scintillating, obfuscating world of psycho-babble.  Anyone who has had the pleasure of trying to play fiddlestix with Mr. Blair’s endless rows of stripped lumber, each one, like a tree, with dendrochronological circles of lies giving hints about their age, vintage and complexity, can affirm that this man has an ability that is only “Satanically-given”, metaphysical and downright eerie.  Remember what the great American jurist, Oliver Wendell Holmes once said: “You can find the truth almost anywhere, even occasionally in sworn affidavits.”  And so lies pile upon lies.
Blair has been swearing that his genocidal war in Iraq was “just” and “principled”.  He takes pride in helping his confederate, George W. Bush, to oust that hated dictator and totalitarian tyrant, Saddam Hussein.  He is proud to have replaced him with Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi of ISIS, or so he might say if push came to shove, for Mr. Blair has that ability to lie “on his feet”, to invent sincere-sounding entreaties to logic and ethics – to blow smoke at blast furnaces.  Blair once stood on a Toronto stage with the irrepressible British atheist, Christopher Hitchens, and listened to the latter (dying of esophageal cancer at the time) announce that “Iraqi women were enjoying true freedom now that Saddam was overthrown”.  The lie was, of course, uttered by Hitchens who was probably under the influence of pain killers – but the truly masterful lie was uttered by Blair, who did not interject that women were much worse off after Saddam.  Thus, his lying has reached another level of perfection – he can lie without saying anything.  He lies by merely standing quietly at a dais!
Now back to Mr. Abdul-Rahman after our short segue into the background of this coveted award.  Mr. Abdul-Rahman continues to get some (much fewer now) references to his non-existent “network” of informants all over Syria. (Nyuk)  I have told you before that his only sources are the British spooks in Incirlik who get their news from Captagon-addled Saudi apes, and his beloved Ouija Board.  He has managed to dupe Alalam into quoting his announcements.  Other “news” sources like Daily Star, Al-Jazeera, Al-Arabiya and Al-Bawaba, rent-a-fraud companies financed by Arabian chimpanzees, regularly use him as filler when all the news is going terribly well for the Syrian army.
And so we congratulate Mr. Abdul-Rahman on his fourth straight nomination.  Keep the lies coming, we’re enjoying them. ZAF

Saher Abu Namous, 4, after the targeting of their house next to the Kamal Adwan hospital in the north.”
Please take less than one minute to watch this video and feel the pain of Saher’s father. We owe him at least that.

Al Akhbar updated:
At least 120 Palestinians — the vast majority of whom are civilians — have been killed and over 700 injured so far since a massive Israeli air and naval assault against the besieged Gaza Strip was launched on July 8. Homes, markets, and vital infrastructure have been targeted by the Israeli military, causing destruction and thousands of displaced people. This current attack is the bloodiest since an eight-day assault was launched by the Israeli military on Gaza in the November 2012 which left 177 Palestinians dead and over 1,300 wounded in the span of eight days.
Al-Akhbar’s news coverage of Israel’s attacks against Gaza can be viewed on this link.
Gaza Scoop reported on the Zio shelling of the Wafa Hospital for the Disabled (NOT the first time):
“Four Israeli missiles smashed into Al Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital at 2am Friday, in what can only be described as a barbaric war crime. Israel calls it ‘roof knocking.’ It is usually the precursor to a major attack that destroys the building and all within it.The 14 patients who remain in the facility are all high-dependency, and unable to be transferred elsewhere. Many are intubated, a quarter are comatose, most are fully or partially paralysed and unable to mobilise. They range in age from 13 years to over 80, and about half are in their 20’s and 30’s.
None of them are militants, resistance fighters, or terrorists. They are all, each and every one of them, civilians. Their injuries were sustained through illness (meningitis, stroke during childbirth) or accident (electrocution, drowning, traffic accident).
They cannot even lift a spoon, let alone a gun.”
On a more personal level, Omar Ghraieb in Gaza blogged:
“This makes it the third Israeli open war against Gaza in 5 years or less. This isn’t a report, this is a personal account of what I lived today through the fourth day of Israel’s new aggression on Gaza.
The Israeli targets in Gaza remained the same but expanded to include a handicap association Northern Gaza, which caused the death of two or more handicapped females. Mosques and houses were bombed as usual, also cars and motorbikes and all the usual targets. Oh and humans ofcourse. Another cemetery was bombed, and the old cemetery was bombed again. Basically, everything in Gaza is a potential target.
124 Palestinians have been killed, 935+ others got injured. Israel carried out 2025 bombings across Gaza so far, or even more, using 400 tons of explosives every day, give and take. Yesterday, people noticed a fog covering due to smoke bombs fired from Israeli tanks. It might contain poisonous gas, cast lead flashbacks. Most casualties (dead and injured) are women and children, as usual, and dare to tell me they aren’t civilians.
I will not lie and say life here is normal, but it hasn’t stopped either. People do be careful and stay homebound (not that it saves you or anything, no place here is safe) but also go to work and buy groceries and the usual stuff. Its Ramadan, although its hard to feel the blessings and magic of this holy month through all this madness. We went through similar situations to the extent that each one of us become a walking guide book on how to survive though war, and also sound experts. You know to immediately stalk medicine and all the basic needs like water, bread and canned food when such things occur (they usually occur out of nowhere) but during times like this, even basic needs become trivial.
Many explosions were nearby to where I live, but one explosion was so nearby that I lost hearing for a few minutes. But it came back, thankfully….”
Real News interview on the lead-up to and current situation in this latest war ON Gaza:
“The kidnapping of the three Israeli teens occurred on June 12 against the backdrop of unprecedented political pressure on Netanyahu, the Hamas-Fatah unity deal, which he sought to shatter, which the U.S. recognized was a source of deep anxiety among Netanyahu and his inner circle. There was the killings of two Palestinian teens in Beitunia on May 15, captured on closed circuit TV and by a CNN cameraman, which Human Rights Watch had called a war crime–more political pressure. Netanyahu wanted to reframe the discussion.
So the three Israeli teens were kidnapped. A recorded call indicated, with gunshots heard on the recorded call to the police by the teens, that they had been killed right away. The Israeli government and police knew who the two suspects were, two characters with affiliation to a rogue Hamas cell, indicating that Hamas had no knowledge of the kidnapping and that it contravened their political goals and the goals of the unity agreement. Netanyahu seized the opportunity to milk this kidnapping for all the propaganda value it was worth, lying even to the parents of the teenagers, telling them that their teens are alive and that those gunshots they heard in the phone call were blanks.
The military and the Shin Bet intelligence service imposed a gag order preventing the Israeli media from reporting on any details of the investigation into the killings, convincing the Israeli public that the teams were alive. And as Israeli troops rampaged through the West Bank, raiding over 15,000 Palestinian homes, arresting over 560 Palestinians without charges, killing six Palestinians, Israelis believed that they were on a rescue mission, while Netanyahu and his diplomatic corps deployed a propaganda campaign to bring back our boys even while they knew that those boys were dead. They set the Israeli public up for this orgy of revenge.
When the bodies were found, Israelis reacted, Jewish Israelis reacted with extreme shock. Mobs poured out into Jerusalem with young men chanting “death to Arabs”. A group of young men apparently met at one of these spontaneous racist rallies in Jerusalem and went out on a hunt in occupied East Jerusalem for young Palestinian boys to abduct. They found one, 17-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir, burned him alive, forcing him to drink gasoline, dumping his body in the woods. And the situation deteriorated from there.
Netanyahu had blamed all of Hamas, calling them “human animals” in an official statement, and declaring, “Vengeance for the blood of a small child Satan has not yet created.” Netanyahu inspired and incited this orgy of revenge. And the official campaign of revenge, apart from the vigilante campaign which claimed the life of Abu Khdeir, is now taking place in Gaza Strip, governed by Hamas.
And just another point. The three suspects in the killing of Mohammed Abu Khdeir have been released.”

“Israel bombed the Fun Time Beach Cafe in Gaza, where young people had gathered to watch the World Cup match, Argentina versus Netherlands, in order to escape some of the horror that was around them. And Israel bombed it, killing nine people and, according to the AFP report, scattering body parts all over the beach. And this comes as, you know, at least now 22 children have been killed.
And most of the civilian casualties, according to the UN–I quote from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs today: “The targeting and destruction of residential buildings in Gaza continues to be the main cause of civilian casualties.” And that’s so important, because all of the Israeli propaganda which is being parroted in the mainstream media is that Israel does its best to avoid civilian casualties, when in fact, by yesterday, Israel had targeted over 150 private homes. And this is collective punishment. It’s a war crime.
They’re targeting the family homes of people that Israel says may be involved in military resistance, and they’re killing their families and their children in the process. It’s pretty shocking that this is happening at the same time that the Israeli ambassador went before the UN Security Council today and told that body that the Palestinians celebrate death. Nobody is celebrating the deaths of all of these innocent people except for the Israeli government ministers that are ordering these crimes and the mobs in the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv chanting “death to the Arabs”.”

The Mindlessness of a Manifesto

Today’s invasion of Gaza is but a repetition of Israel’s savagery under Sharon and Olmert; I’ve written about this before. How horrible that we must revisit such horror! All I can do is to reassert what was true in Rafah, Jenin, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine again and again and again since 1947 and ’48.

by Prof. William A Cook

"Why the World Needs America?" Robert Kagan
“Why the World Needs America?” Robert Kagan
“A liberal world order, like any world order, is something that is imposed, and as much as we in the West might wish it to be imposed by superior virtue, it is generally imposed by superior power” (“Superpowers Don’t Get to Retire: What Our Tired Country Still Owes the World,” Robert Kagan, Brookings Institute. May 26, 2014).
This sentence from Kagan’s Neo-Conservative Manifesto reads like so much flotsam in a cesspool of scattered feces. It emanates from a mindless, bloated root chakra that has abandoned all except instinctive self-survival. It is deficient in understanding and wisdom, a mind surviving in an isolated tribe, a being guided only by fear of everlasting victimhood. How does one read this flotsam?
We don’t need to read it, we are witnessing its last throes today in Gaza as the consequences of neo-conservative “superior power” unfurls before the world once again and the desperation of neo-conservative idiocy splashes over the screen for the world to witness.
What is it that we witness? Israel garbed in the armor of the American flag, fielding America’s weapons of mass destruction, protected by the investment of the American taxpayer in the “iron dome,” and marching with the impunity that comes from America’s veto of censure, reveals to the world two nations that willingly impose their “superior power” on a defenseless people displaying in the enormity of their invasion unleashed evil without compassion, without mercy, without sense, a mindless act of uncivil barbarity no different than that displayed by the Mongols or Visigoths of ancient days.
Kagan’s is a simple sentence, “A world order is imposed by superior power.” It does not advance by justice, it mocks justice; it does not consider morality, it laughs at morality; it does not reflect rights of people anywhere, just its rights; it is the rule of those who can and who do not care to care for any but self; it is ruled by a pathological fear engendered by victimhood because they know their own power rests on the destruction of others and hence on the fear that they will infect their victims with the same loathsome mentality that guides them. What is a “liberal” world order if its actions abandon all human capacity to seek justice in favor of “power,” to rule without inclusiveness of those ruled, to slaughter without civilized due process? What is it but barbarianism. Why consider “superior virtue” when it only obstructs conquest? Besides, whose “superior virtue” are we to follow? Why get embroiled in arguments; power alone is the determiner of virtue. It’s all so easy, so sensible at least to the few who impose their will.
Peres, Sharon OlmertToday’s invasion of Gaza is but a repetition of Israel’s savagery under Sharon and Olmert; I’ve written about this before. How horrible that we must revisit such horror! All I can do is to reassert what was true in Rafah, Jenin, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine again and again and again since 1947 and ’48.
“Evil knows no morality; it savors no regard for the weak or oppressed; it admits no rights but those it imposes; it condemns those who dissent without regard for evidence or truth; it denies all wrongdoing since its actions alone determine right; it feels no shame; it accepts no blame; it pleads innocence, seeks to cloak itself in the victim’s stripes, and curses those who condemn its crimes.
Franz Kafka presented a vicious portrayal of such a country in “The Penal Colony.”Considered as a metaphor for Israel today, ironically since Kafka wrote from the vantage point of being a Jew, the “Officer” and executioner delighted in describing the virtues of his state’s torture machine as it inscribed on the victim’s skin his crime, and in the duration of its agonizing process the victim learned what he was guilty of, though, until that moment of recognition as the steel spikes carved his sentence on his back, he had never been charged with a crime. Kafka knew the consequences of being a Jew in a world without compassion (even before the state of Israel declared its “independence.” )
Thus it is in today’s Israel; the state, in the figure of its Prime Ministers, determines what is right, what is a crime, and who is guilty; there is no need for due rights whether of an individual or a state like (Lebanon) or the people of Palestine. Israel alone determines what terrorism is, it alone defies international law and the UN resolutions with impunity, it alone chooses the words that will describe its actions determining for the world community how it is to understand Israel’s actions. And so it is in the Penal Colony. All live in fear of the executioner, both the colonists and the occupied. So long as that fear can be maintained, so long can the Colony survive under its brutal regime. But time catches up with the Penal Colony. An outsider is brought in to witness how it operates and how it executes its “civilized” approach to management of the colony. The witness listens to the detailed explanation of the Officer as he justifies the policies and procedures of the Penal Colony, but he marks the Medieval and barbaric reality of the colony and its treatment of its citizens and those it condemns to execution. (Today we are the outsider who witnesses the executioner at work).
Kafka notes with remarkable insight and wisdom that the state will not change until it accepts its own guilt, until it comprehends that its behavior rests on principles that are corrosive to human kind, blind to the reality of human equality, and self-destructive because built on superstition and fear. Once that recognition comes, the Officer and executioner mounts the torture machine and straps himself in its bed. And as the machine begins to run, the witness watches the spikes inscribe the sentence on his back, “Be Just.”
Evil exists in the delusion that grows from ignorance and alienation, necessary ingredients in a state of “demonocracy.” Peace is possible when openness proliferates and people remove the barriers that isolate and separate them from each other” (Cook, “Desire, Fulfillment and Regret, 2006.” Decade of Deceit).
Will we ever learn from the past? Will Kagan ever grasp that he speaks only to his own, the exclusive fraternity that can for a time impose what it will as it destroys families across the mid-east in the Neo-Conservative design to redraw the ground on which they walk and live? Will they ever understand the intensity of grief that comes from such a mindset devoid of human sympathy for those who huddle behind walls as the missiles fall? Perhaps Conrad’s unembellished prose tells it simply without gloss, just straight forward truth:
“They were conquerors, and for that you want only brute force nothing to boast of, when you have it, since your strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others. They grabbed what they could get for the sake of what was to be got. It was just robbery with violence, aggravated murder on a great scale, and men going at it blind as it is very proper for those who tackle the darkness. The conquest of the earth, which mostly means taking it away from those who have a different complexion or slightly flatter noses than ourselves (or hide in a self declared grouping ‘we in the West’), is not a pretty thing when you look at it too much…”
Today it is the Neo-Cons as conquerors, mostly Ashkenazi Jews from the ancient Khazar empire whose nobility converted to Judaism in the 800s, who find solace in survival at the expense of others, a motivation nourished in the root chakra that thrives on instinct embedded in possessiveness, devoid of the chakras that seek communion with the whole being and accommodation of all in a shared universe. It is but a matter of time before their strength diminishes and the strength of others conquerors them.
Where is the proffered peace promised 65 years ago when the state of Israel declared its independence? Where is the touted democracy, the only true democracy in the mid-east that resorts to “superior power” to control the people of Palestine whose land they have stolen? Where is the obligation to abide by international law signed before the world in its acceptance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the conventions of the Unite Nations?
What then does the word “liberal” mean?

Gaza Offensive: Israel Has No Targets But Civilians, Resistance Defiant

Local Editor

Zionist entity’s brutal assault on Gaza continued for the sixth day on Saturday, with the resistance persistent to go on with launching rockets on the occupied territories.

The death toll in Gaza surpassed 127 martyrs and 930 injured, our correspondent quoted medical sources in the besieged enclave.

Destruction in Gaza
Al-Manar correspondent in Gaza reported that the Israeli strikes on Saturday targeted hospitals, mosques and a center for handicapped people.

He said that at least 20 people were martyred on Saturday, noting that all of them are civilians, including handicapped teens.

The leader of the resistance movement, Hamas, in Gaza, Ismael Haniyeh, vowed that the rocket launch on the Zionist entity would continue.

“Hamas leaders do not fear Israel’s threats,” Haniyeh said in a statement.

“To the occupation, I say stop your war crimes against our people,” he added.

For his part, the Zionist premier, Benjamin Netanyahu, said Friday that in international pressure would not force Tel Aviv to stop its attack.

“No international pressure will prevent us from operating with full force against a terrorist organization that calls for our destruction,” Netanyahu said.

“We will continue to strongly hit all those who try to attack us, and we will continue to take determined and prudent action to protect our home front.”

He had barely finished speaking at the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv when sirens wailed to warn of a volley of rockets approaching the city.

Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Minister said that preparations wre under way for a possible ground attack, with tanks and artillery massed along the border and some 33,000 reservists mobilized out of 40,000 approved by the cabinet.

Avigdor Lieberman said he expected a political decision on a possible ground operation within 48 hours.

"At the moment we are dealing with the first phase... air attacks," he told Channel One television.

"I imagine we shall decide tomorrow (Saturday) or the day after on the next stage," he said on Friday.

However such operation seems to be catastrophic to the occupation forces since it may lead to scores of deaths among them.

Did ISIS terrorists, after being treated in Israeli hospitals, false flag the 3 dead teenagers?

Israel Supports Al Qaeda Rebels: Syria Opposition Terrorists Treated in Israeli Hospital

Global Research, February 03, 2014

The Israeli occupation army established a field hospital on the Golan Heights to treat the Syrian injured militants who belong to the terrorist groups in Syria.
These groups have treated over 700 of their injured militants in that hospitals, according to Israeli media outlets.
The Zionist army prevented the media outlets from broadcasting the activities of the field hospital yet allowed the Second Channel to prepare a report about it in order to promote the “humane Israeli step towards the Syrians.”
golan hospital
The report mainly focused on the Israeli intentions behind treating the militants, clarifying that the Israelis aim was to strengthen and deepen their relations with the terrorist groups in Syria in order to keep the calm and stability which now prevails between these groups and Israel at Palestinian-Syrian borders.
The report also included interviews with a number of the militants who stated that “Zionism is not macabre as it has been portrayed by the Syrian regime.”
“The regime used to force us to believe that our enemy is all the surrounding world, yet after the beginning of the revolution, we recognized our real friends and  real enemies.”

The ISIS “Islamic State” Not Hamas Claimed responsibility for murder of three Israeli boys

While Israel has claimed that Hamas was behind the murder of 3 Israeli boys and subsequent rocket attacks, the Times of Israel reported last week:
A new Palestinian jihadist group pledging allegiance to the Islamic State (formerly known as ISIL) [or "ISIS"] has claimed responsibility for the killing of three Israeli teenagers last month in the West Bank, as well as other recent deadly attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.
Hamas has denied responsibility for the attacks.
The New York Times also reported on Wednesday:
On Tuesday evening, Israel’s antimissile system, called Iron Dome, intercepted a rocket “over the Tel Aviv area,” the army said, showing the reach of Gazan rocketry. The rocket was believed to be of Iranian design, a Fajr-5, and Islamic Jihad claimed credit. Tel Aviv opened some public shelters, and in a city near Tel Aviv, Rishon LeZion, people were instructed to leave the beach.
Given that countries all over the world – including Israel and Muslim countries – have admitted to carrying out false flag attacks, we should carefully investigate who was responsible before cheering on a new Arab-Israeli war. (And the head of Mossad had predicted such an occurrenceshortly before it happened.)

Palestine has gained a lot of support recently.  For example, Palestine wasaccorded observer nation status by the United Nations.  The movement to boycott and divest from companies doing business with Israel hasgathered tremendous momentum. And the two main factions in Palestinian politics – Hamas and Fatah – have formed a unity government.

As Michael Rivero points out, it makes no sense for Hamas to have committed brutal acts of violence when it is winning through peaceful political means:

HAMAS and FATAH formed a unity government. They need the support of the world right now, and neither HAMAS or FATAH is going to carry out an act that would wreck the very public support they need. It’s like George Washington trying to kick out the British by shooting students in the colonial schools; it is just not going to happen.

And the Jewish Daily Forward notes that – if rogue Hamas members didcarry out the murders – it was not with the permission or knowledge of Hamas leadership:

In the flood of angry words that poured out of Israel and Gaza during a week of spiraling violence, few statements were more blunt, or more telling, than this throwaway line by the chief spokesman of the Israeli military, Brigadier General Moti Almoz, speaking July 8 on Army Radio’s morning show: “We have been instructed by the political echelon to hit Hamas hard.”

That’s unusual language for a military mouthpiece. Typically they spout lines like “We will take all necessary actions” or “The state of Israel will defend its citizens.” You don’t expect to hear: “This is the politicians’ idea. They’re making us do it.”
It was clear from the beginning that the kidnappers weren’t acting on orders from Hamas leadership in Gaza or Damascus. Hamas’ Hebron branch — more a crime family than a clandestine organization — had a history of acting without the leaders’ knowledge, sometimes against their interests. Yet Netanyahu repeatedly insisted Hamas was responsible for the crime and would pay for it.

Netanyahu won't stop the genocide in Gaza, he's enjoying it too much

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that he would press forward with his country's military offensive In the Gaza Strip, telling reporters that there was 'still more to go' in the conflict that has already claimed more than 100 lives.

He defended the attacks by Israeli forces in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, saying that they are part of a determined effort to halt rocket fire by Palestinian militants.

His comments come amid growing pressure from a number of international leaders to cease the military campaign - which has seen Israel attack more than 1,000 targets since Tuesday.
