Yemeni Attack on Khawba City in KSA’s Jizan: Scores of Saudi Soldiers Killed

KhawbaThe Yemeni Army and popular committees launched a wide scale attack on al-Khawba city in KSA's Jizan, controlling all military posts and killing scores of Saudi soldiers.
The Saudi army attempted to send reinforcements to the scene of the confrontation; however, the Yemeni forces exploded bombs, destroying a number of vehicles and claiming most of the soldiers on board.

The Saudi air force also tried to support the ground troops, yet all its raids were fruitless.
Yemen has been since March 26 under brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition.

The Yemeni army and popular committees also frustrated the Saudi attempts to regain Raboaa, inflicting heavy losses on KSA's troops.

Hundreds of thousands have been martyred and injured in the attack, with the vast majority of them are civilians.

Riyadh launched the attack on Yemen in a bid to restore power to fugitive president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who is a close ally to Saudi Arabia.

However, Yemeni army, backed by the committees has been responding to the aggression by targeting several Saudi border military posts and cleansing several areas across the country, especially the country’s south, from Hadi and al-Qaeda-linked militias.
