Heroic Palestinian Op in Tel Aviv: 4 ’Israelis’ Dead, Dozens Injured
According to the information, four “Israelis” have been killed and 16 have been wounded in an operation in one of Tel Aviv’s most secure streets.
“Israeli” police spokeswoman Luba al-Samri said in a statement that the shooters, whose names have yet to be confirmed, were two Palestinians from the same family from the town of Yatta, south of the city al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
According to Haaretz, two armed men “disguised as Orthodox Jews” opened fire near the Benedict restaurant and then at the nearby Haarbaa Street.
It further mentioned that “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who returned on Wednesday from Moscow, convened a security briefing in Tel Aviv, and announced a meeting scheduled for Thursday, which will be attended by War Minister Avigdor Lieberman, “Shin Bet” chief Yoram Cohen, and Police Commissioner Roni Alsheich.
This comes as “Israel” said Thursday it had suspended entry permits for 83,000 Palestinians during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan.
“All permits for Ramadan, especially permits for family visits to “Israel”, are frozen,” said a statement from COGAT, the unit which manages civilian affairs in the occupied West Bank.
It said that 83,000 Palestinians would be affected, adding that hundreds of residents of the Gaza Strip who had received permits to visit relatives and holy sites during Ramadan would also have access frozen.

Occupation police said the gunmen were from Yatta, a Palestinian village near the West Bank town of al-Khalil (Hebron). Both are in custody. One is undergoing surgery in hospital, occupation police added.
The attacks happened at around 21:30 (18:30 GMT) as Israelis were relaxing in the market’s restaurants and bars.
Video footage showed crowds running from the scene and ambulances arriving. Pictures showed upturned tables and chairs at one restaurant.
Ichilov hospital said four wounded Israelis brought there had died and at least four others were in a critical condition.
Strict Measures
Following the attack, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai, cancelled the easing of some security restrictions that were in place for the holy month of Ramadan.
After an evaluation held by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, and IOF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, Mordechai ordered the freezing of 204 entrance permits for relatives of the attackers.
Additionally, 83,000 permits for Palestinians in the West Bank to visit family members in Gaza have been revoked, and all easing of security measures for Gaza Strip residents during Ramadan, particularly access to al-Aqsa Mosque prayers, have been cancelled.
