Hezbollah Cancels Quds Day Ceremony, S. Nasrallah to Deliver Televised Speech

Due to security concerns, Hezbollah decided to cancel Al-Quds Day public ceremony which was scheduled to be held on Friday in Beirut’s Southern Suburb, the party said in a statement.

The statement added that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is going to deliver a televised speech on Friday, July1, at 17:30 (Beirut Time).

The Great Day: Sayyed Nasrallah to Speak Friday on Al-Quds Day

Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, is to deliver a speech on Friday on the occasion of Al-Quds International Day.

A ceremony will be held by Hezbollah on the occasion at Sayyed Shuhada Complex in Beirut’s Southern Suburb (Dahiyeh), on Friday at 17:00 (Beirut timing). Sayyed Nasrallah on al-Quds Day

The International Quds Day is an annual event during which demonstrators across the world express their solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and opposition to the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist entity.

The day, which falls on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, was named by the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini.
