Hezbollah and Iran Condemns Terrorist Attacks in Saudi Arabia: A Test for the Whole World
Hezbollah condemned in a statement on Monday the terrorist suicide bombings that targeted the vicinity of the Prophet mosque in Medina, and another mosque in Qatif in Saudi Arabia.
Hezbollah“The explosions that targeted the holiest places in the Land of the Two Holy Mosques at the holiest times, in the last days of the holy month of Ramadan, is not but another proof on the terrorists’ disrespect to all Muslim sanctuaries and to what they claim as their own belief, thus proving their split from the Ummah and the true religion,” the statement read.
Hezbollah confirmed that “these terrorists acts this evening, and recent heinous crimes in Turkey, Iraq, Bangladesh, Lebanon and others, assert that this dangerous epidemic is in need of a serious and different treatment and a clear political and popular solidarity to eradicate this malignant tumor.”
“Rampant Takfiri criminality should drive states, governments, international and regional organizations to a comprehensive review of its position from terrorism and its arming, financing, political and media support, veiling its crimes and justifying them, especially after it was clear that some of its aids and advocates became one of its most targeted victims,” Hezbollah said.
Hezbollah’s statement stressed that the world and the region are before a test of solidarity against terrorism and terrorists, instead of using them in regional and international conflict or in settling political accounts that will only have negative consequences on everyone without any exception.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned a series of terrorist bomb attacks in the Saudi Arabian cities of Medina, Qatif, and Jeddah.
Iran“Terrorism knows no borders or nationalities and has no solution but the creation of international and regional consensus and solidarity against it,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi.
Reiterating that Iran condemns all manners of terrorism, he noted that all countries must unite against the sources and reasons behind terrorisms.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also tweeted, “There are no red lines left which the terrorists have not passed.”
Earlier in the day, four security guards were killed when a terrorist detonated his explosives near the security headquarters of the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia’s western city of Medina.
“Security forces suspected a man who was heading towards al-Masjid al-Nabawi (the Prophet’s Mosque) as he passed through a visitors parking lot,” said a statement released by the Saudi interior ministry. “As they tried to stop him, he blew himself up with an explosive belt causing his death, and the death of four security personnel.”
