GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian prime minister Ismael Haneyya said that his government is willing to facilitate the mission of any Arab or international party willing to reconstruct the devastated Gaza Strip.

He also added that the Palestinian national dialogue became a national imperative, especially at this point in time, in order to preserve the Palestinian national constants and legal rights.

Haneyya made these remarks in an interview with Al-Quds satellite TV channel where he also described linking the construction program with the formation of Palestinian national unity as" deliberate" blocking of the rebuilding of Gaza Strip, explaining that such delay would be at the expense of the poor Palestinian citizens who lost their homes and farms.

However, he stressed that his government was and still is open for national dialogue that would end the Palestinian political division, but he said that a good atmosphere should be prepared for the dialogue to succeed.

In this regard, Haneyya urged Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas to take a "brave" step to release Hamas's political detainees from his jails in the West Bank, and to come forward to the national dialogue without bowing to external pressures, especially from the Israeli occupation.

"All what we want from Abu Mazen (Abbas's nickname) is to take a courageous step to release all political detainees in his jails, and to come to the national dialogue without external pressures", asserted Haneyya.

He also underlined that the Palestinian people in Gaza were the ones who made the victory in Gaza by their steadfastness and the legendary determination they demonstrated during the war, accusing the Israeli occupation government of being the party that breached the truce in the first place, and that it had prepared for the war on Gaza long time ago.

Finally, Haneyya made it clear that the Palestinian resistance factions won't agree to a truce with the Israeli occupation that wouldn’t lead to lifting the unjust siege on Gaza once and for all, and to open all crossing points of Gaza.

"The Palestinian people must live in dignity and freedom, and therefore we simply say that the siege must end, and the international courts should carry out their mandates in chasing and prosecuting Israeli war criminals for their heinous crimes in Gaza", underscored the Palestinian premier.
