"The visit began with a binary meeting that lasted for one hour during which the two sides discussed Arab and regional issues as well as the bilateral relations," Shaaban told journalists, describing the summit as positive and constructive.
"During the Summit, Syria reiterated its principled stances regarding the Arab rights and regional relations in the interests of the Arab causes," Shaaban emphasized.
She said that the Summit underlined commitment to the Arab rights, on top, the usurped rights by Israel, adding that the four leaders stressed the right of resisting occupation which is a legitimate right and the necessity of supporting resistance, and… in this regard, it is inevitable to regard Israel as an enemy.
"During the Summit, Syria underlined the importance of the Arab relations with each of Turkey and Iran to regional countries that support the Arab rights and the necessity of adopting an Arab clear method in our relations with regional and non-regional states," Shaaban said.
She added the Arab leaders agreed that difference in opinions shouldn't turn to dispute among them, and they have to manage the Arab differences in a way that won't harm the nation's interests.
