Ghusain: Dayton's training of PA forces proves their unpatriotic agenda

GAZA, (PIC)-- The spokesman of the PA interior ministry in Gaza Strip Ehab Al-Ghusain has asserted Thursday that the personal supervision of Keith Dayton, the US military coordinator in the West Bank, over the training of the PA security forces in the West Bank proves beyond reasonable doubt the unpatriotic agenda of those forces.

"Those military trainings of the PA security forces under the supervision of Dayton is a practical implementation of the roadmap plan to fight the Palestinian resistance", Ghusain pointed out in a press release he issued in this regard, and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC.

He added that in spite of the clear Israeli disavowal of all previous "futile" agreements the Israeli occupation authority signed with the Ramallah authority, the illegitimate government of Salam Fayyadh is still insisting on fighting the Palestinian resistance as required by the US and the Israeli agenda.

He reacted to news reports confirming that Russian-made armors were allowed into Ramallah with Israeli approval, stressing that the new shipment was meant to fight and liquidate the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank, and to ensure security of the Israelis.

Furthermore, the PA official highlighted that the rejection of Fatah faction to reform the PA security forces in the West Bank on national agenda during the inter-Palestinian national dialogue in Cairo confirms that Fatah and the Ramallah authority want to reform those apparatuses based on Dayton's plan.

News reports confirmed that during the past few weeks, Dayton organized a number of advanced training courses for tens of PA security officers in the West Bank in the presence of Tony Blair, the emissary of the Quartet Committee, and in coordination with the IOA.

For its part, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad the Quds Brigades described the Russian shipment to Abbas forces as "suspicious", seconding Ghusain's remarks that the shipment was meant to silence the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank.

"At a time the West and the East ally against the Palestinian resistance, and strive hard to prevent smuggling of weapons to the besieged Palestinian people in Gaza Strip who fight for their freedom, the Russian shipment comes to add more evidence that a new and frenzied crime was being committed against the legitimate Palestinian resistance", asserted Abu Hamza, the spokesman of the QB, in an interview with the Quds Press.

He said that while the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank is being quelled, armed Israeli settlers were given the free rein to attack Palestinian citizens across the West Bank, especially in Nablus and Al-Khalil cities.

But he stressed that despite targeting the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank, enemies of the Palestinian people won’t succeed in breaking the determination of the Palestinian resistance to continue fighting against occupation.

"Could the Russian tanks and weapons help them (against the Palestinian resistance)? No and a big No because what we possess is greater than all weapons… we possess the faith in Allah, and we possess the solid determination and the legitimate right to defend and liberate our country", Abu Hamza underlined.

The Palestine Information Center, affiliated with Hamas, reported that the security forces arrested Nidal Abu Tharifa on Tuesday night, after breaking into his home in Nour Shams refugee camp.

The Center added that this is the second time the security forces have arrested Abu Tharifa; he was released from a Palestinian detention facility two weeks ago after spending a month and a half in detention.

The security forces also arrested Hazim Al Noury, who was released from a Palestinian detention facility several days ago after spending two weeks in detention.

On Sunday, Hasan Srouji, from Tulkarem refugee camp, was arrested less than twenty-four hours after being released from an Israeli detention facility after 26 months.
