15/05/2009 Day after another, more scandalous facts regarding the roles played by the Israeli Mossad-linked cells in Lebanon are revealed…
Lebanese daily As-Safir published on Friday a long report in which it detailed the roles played by the agents in the country and revealed the seriousness of the plots schemed by them against Lebanon and its Resistance.
According to the daily, Israel reactivated sleeping networks since early 2007, some of which are old and of historical importance, such as the Ali Jarrah and Adib Alam networks. It also decided to restore its ties with former agents.
As-Safir noted that the Zionist entity tasked "key security players", such as Jarrah and Alam, with recruiting new members by placing ads for companies requesting dozens of employees.
The daily noted that Israel gave its networks a three-fold mission: first, obtaining and sending information; second, recruiting "key security players"; and three, logistics and execution.
The function of the Israeli networks was not limited to the Lebanese domestic arena and the Resistance's infrastructure; rather, it also encompassed Syria according to As-Safir.
The daily also pointed to the suspicious role played by the agent Haytham Sahmarani, who was in the security forces and used to move during the Israeli July 2006 war against Lebanon and provided the Israeli enemy with information of specific targets, including where he thinks Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah was. Agent Sahmarani was also the one behind the bombardment of the Imam Al-Hasan compound in the war's last day as well as other targets.
