Sayyed Nasrallah: Netanyahu's Speech Blow to Arab Moderates

Sayyed Nasrallah: Netanyahu's Speech Blow to Arab Moderates
Hussein Assi Readers Number : 200

15/06/2009 Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah said on Monday that the speech made one day ago by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put the whole region in the middle of serious dangers and threats of settlement and displacement, urging all Arabs, including the so-called moderate one, to stay united to face the upcoming challenges.

Sayyed Nasrallah was speaking through a large TV screen during a ceremony organized by the "Mawadda" cultural center.

Commenting on Netanyahu's latest speech, Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that Netanyahu came to tell Arabs the truth and to reveal early his vision for the region's future, noting that the speech put an end to all bets on the possibility of reaching a compromise in the region.

His eminence expressed hope that Netanyahu's speech would constitute a shock and a flagrant blow to all the so-called "moderate" Arab leaders, calling on those to reconsider their positions towards the nation's causes as well as the Resistance path.

"First of all, Netanyahu's speech frustrated the hopes and bets of all Arabs, governments and all the so-called moderate Arabs. It put an end to the wishes of all those who were betting on the possibility to reach a compromise in the region, and mainly the success of the US administration headed by Barack Obama to achieve such compromise," his eminence noted. "But what did Arab moderates expect from Netanyahu? What did Arabs and mainly Palestinians expect from the Netanyahu-Lieberman government? Did they expect something else?" Sayyed Nasrallah wondered.

Hezbollah Secretary General said that Netanyahu's speech presented a clear picture of the future that awaits Arabs and Palestinians in particular. "Netanyahu came to tell Arabs the truth, to inform them of his vision of the future of the region. He came to remind them of former Israeli PM Ariel Sharon's famous comment on the Arab peace initiative when he said that such initiative isn't worth the ink it was written with."
Sayyed Nasrallah also tackled the US administration's reaction over the speech. "What increased the moderates' frustration was the US administration's reaction. Actually, the whole US game of passing time was quickly uncovered just after they commented on the speech. They found it important and positive and furthermore, hailed it as a developed step. Is there anything positive in Netanyahu's speech?"

While warning that the speech put the region in the middle of the real threats it would be facing in the near future and stressing that it should constitute a shock and a blow to all moderates in the Arab and Islamic world, Sayyed Nasrallah concluded his speech by calling on all Palestinians, and Arabs in particular, to unite and join all together in order to face the upcoming challenges. "Arabs should take a stand of awareness, determination, seriousness, contemplation and resolution," his eminence highlighted.

Now read Hamas basher, attacking Hamas for not learning from Hezbullah

"Hasn't the time arrived to consider the PA the enemy instead? Hasn't the time arrived to learn from Hizbullah what liberation and resistance are all about?

But if Hamas took these steps, Hamas would not be Hamas anymore, would it?

Let us not kid ourselves Hamas is not a revolutionary movement, which is what the Palestinians must produce, and Mish'al is not, by a long shot, Nasrallah."

Dialog....Dialog.....More Dialog....Some More Dialog! The Hapless Marzouk: Qalqilia massacre would be discussed on the dialog table.

There is Love in the Air: All Together Now......I Love You.....You Love Me....We're A Happy Family....

"So when I hear Hamas declaring that it would stop an Israeli invasion of Gaza, I just shake my Head."

"There is a big cultural problem with the traditional Arab mentality of showing bravery and manhood even in the face of overwhelming odds. It is considered shameful to disguise yourself or to hide to avoid being killed by a superior force. Hamas' site uses the same flowery (and meaningless) language exhorting the "legendary bravery" and "heroic resistance." When facing the most advanced tank, if you don't have the missile to disable that tank, standing in front of it is not bravery, it is suicide."

My repply on Arab's cultural "problem"

"There is a big cultural problem with the traditional Arab mentality of showing bravery and manhood even in the face of overwhelming odds."

Keep farting until you see results, most likely you shall continue farting the rest of your life,

Yes there is a cultural "problem", but it’s not the “traditional Arab mentality of showing bravery and manhood, only cowards and traitors may see bravery a problem, I would say there is a cultural problem among Muslims formatted over 1400 years of dictatorships, that started with Moawiya and ended with current Arab regimes.

Few months ago I wrote: “A real intellectual should recognize the backgrounds of both Hizballah and Hamas; I mean Hamas are Sunnis who has been historically the ruling party, while Shea were historically a secret opposition.”

Keep this in mind whenever you compare any Sunni resistance group (even Hamas – being a branch of Muslim Brothers) with Hizballah.

I mean Shea, like Jews are looking forward not just waiting the “results”, the appearance of Imam Al-Mahdi, they were always again like the Jews at work preparing the stage for that Appearance. Sunni are looking back dreaming to return back 1400 years to Sadr Al-Islam (The age of wise Khalifas).

Imam Al-Hussain is the Main Symbol for Shea's culture of facing overwhelming odds. Izzdin Al Qussam and the Handicapped Ahmad Yasin are other Sunni Symbols for a new sunni resistance culture.

Iman Hussain's followers, ......The Party of God is the outcome of 1400 years of resistance. Their Grand fathers never waited to see results. They resisted 1400 years, until they achieved victory in 1980s in Iran, and the Victories of year 2000 and 2007 in Lebanon. ===

"You ask, what can Hamas do? At a minimum hide,"

===

In other words connecting the dots in your shitty comments: Lay arms and hide in the Burrel, or cut it short leave the barrel as the coward did 40 years ago, because the coward believes that “Hamas is copying Arafat in using the "resistance" as a vehicle for political negotiations.”Uprooted Palestinian 01.15.08 - 3:39 pm #
