GAZA, (PIC)-- The monthly report on PA-Israeli violations in the West Bank issued by the Movement of Hamas said that Israel killed during August five Palestinians while two Palestinian citizens died in the Palestinian Authority’s jails as a result of their exposure to torture.
The report stated that Israel kidnapped 379 Palestinian citizens including 229 workmen in the 1948 occupied lands and carried out 120 military incursions in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
The report talked about the PA’s role in maintaining Israel’s security and fighting Hamas in the West Bank, saying that ex-PA chief Mahmoud Abbas’s militias kidnapped 113 Palestinian citizens affiliated with the Movement last month.
It added that these militias also tortured to death two Palestinians affiliated with Hamas in West Bank jails and stormed two mosques in the town of Yamoun, west of Jenin.
The report also said that the PA’s unconstitutional government in Ramallah issued during the month decisions to dismiss tens of teachers in the West Bank because of their affiliation with Hamas.
In the context of the security coordination with Israel, Abbas’s militias kidnapped on Monday three Palestinian citizens, including an ex-detainee, in Ramallah and Jenin.
