IOF troops escalate attacks on Gaza

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have escalated attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as IOF tanks fired shells at various areas in the Strip early on Sunday but no casualties were reported.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF tanks fired a number of projectiles that fell in vacant land east of Deir Al-Balah city in central Gaza.
They added that IOF artillery last night fired at different areas in Beit Lahia and Jabalia in northern Gaza while IOF gunboats fired at Palestinian fishing boats north of the Strip.
The sources said that a special IOF unit advanced into northwest of Beit Lahia at a late hour on Saturday and opened indiscriminate machinegun fire as IOF warplanes flew at low altitudes.
