Villagers rebuilding their demolished shelters
NEGEV, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation authorities demolished on Tuesday all the tents in the unrecognized village of Tawil abu Jarwal for the 31st time, leaving all residents under the burning sun.
The leader of the district council, Ibrahim al-Wakili, condemned these recurring demolitions of the village of Tawil and the lack of sensitivity shown by the Israeli occupation not taking into account that it was the holy month of Ramadan and the fact that the villagers are fasting.
He also criticized the Israeli occupation for refusing to talk to the villagers to reach a solution and said that the district council will support the villagers within its capabilities.
The villagers for their part stressed that they will not leave their lands and they will rebuild their shelters while young people made their point that they will not leave their land by erecting tents on their land to protect them from the sun.
