OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) demolished two Palestinian homes on Tuesday in Al-Buq’ah neighborhood in Beit Hanina and Wadi Qadoum neighborhood in Ras Al-Amoud in occupied Jerusalem without prior notice.
Homeowners Atiya Qara’een and Nasr Al-Husseini said that the IOA did not give them time to remove furniture and clothing or anything from the houses and embarked on demolishing everything.
The brother of Qara’een reported that the demolished house was a second floor that was built in 2007 and accommodated 11 members of the family, adding that the process of demolishing caused damage to the first floor where he lives.
For his part, Jibril, the son of Husseini, said that he went along with a lawyer to the municipal court in the morning and received an order demanding him to demolish the outer wall of the house on his own, but he was surprised to see Israeli troops and bulldozers encircling the house to demolish it.
The house of Hussein was accommodating 30 persons, most of them are children and women.
In a related context, a number of Hamas lawmakers paid solidarity visits on Monday to the Palestinian citizens in the village of Roujib whose homes are threatened with demolition by the IOA.
During the visits, lawmaker Yasser Mansour said that IOA, through the demolition of homes, aims to uproot the Palestinians from their lands.
For its part, Mona Mansour stated that the world must break its silence and pay attention to thousands of Palestinian families displaced by Israel.
In a new development, the Brigades of Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa, the armed wing of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine, claimed responsibility for firing an RPG shell at an Israeli armored bulldozer that infiltrated into a garbage dumb east of Juhr Al-Deek in Gaza.
Six Israeli bulldozers and four tanks advanced 200 meters inside Gaza and embarked on leveling Palestinian lands owned by citizens in the area, eyewitnesses reported.
