Palestinian prisoners in Nafha jail go on hunger strike

RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation's desert prison of Nafha have gone on hunger strike on Tuesday and returned all meals served to them, the Palestinian prisoner's society said.
It added in a statement that the strike was in protest over the Israeli jailors' night searches that end with damaging the prisoners' belongings. They also protested the Israeli ban on money sent to Gaza prisoners, the society added.
It said that the prisoners suffer a series of humiliating measures such as the strip search, deliberate damage of and confiscating personal belongings in addition to the visit deprivation of Gaza prisoners.
The society noted that the Israeli prisons authority every now and then deny the prisoners some of their rights such as watching TV or reading newspapers.
