Looks like Shalit Deal is moving forward. Both Israel and Hamas are lowering ceiling of expectations. Both confirmed that some progress is achieved but final agreement is still far. The deal is an important test for Hamas; the outcome shall cast shadows on the future of the movement with Palestinian Arabic Street..
1- The Israeli leaders claimed that Israeli intelligence is among the best in the world, its unique performance can't be revealed now for security reasons.
Shalit was captured in a military operation planed and supervised by Ahmad Al-Gaabri the Qassam Leader on June 2006, 3 years and 5 months ago. Shalit according to available information is held in Gaza city. The Israeli intelligence, in collaboration with western and Arab intelligence paid tremendous efforts to get information about SHALIT, and failed terribly, and proved that they are not supermen who can do miracles, though they paid big money for locating and liberating shalit, and consequently proving that they can do anything.
On the other hand Hamas was excellent in managing the crisis, failed all Israeli attempts to locate shalit, we should remember that after Hamas took hold on Gaza, Spies Collaborator, giving the enemy valuable information were arrested, killed or fled to Israel. He claimed that Gaabari who planed hundreds of operations against Israel, has the FINAL SAY ON THE EXCHAGE DEAL.
IN SHORT, Hamas defeated Israel in this battle
The release of those prisoners shall be a great painful blow on Israeli face, a message to Israeli decision makers, that dividing Palestinians shall fail.
Those abandon prisoners did what they did upon instructions of leaders who after Oslo become the best friends of the Jewish state. Therefore Hamas insistence to include then in the deal shall change the rules of the game, and shall remind us the rules set by Ahmad Jebreal who in 1985 forced Israel to release 39 Palestinian 1948 prisoner. It would be a message to Abbas and his gang that their attempts to separate Arab 48 from the Palestinian people shall fail. Abbas in several occasions said that Arab 48 stand harm the Palestinian cause.

The information leaked from Israel that Abbas fears that Shalit deal shall boast Hamas are true.
4- SMART WISE HAMAS is aware that the Israeli PM, who praised the PA security groups for its great achievement in stopping "terror" in WB, can't withstand the internal pressure, therefore Hamas is not in hurry, expecting Israel to surrender to Hamas conditions after several months, According to Fishman. Hamas Insistence on list as given to the Egyptians shall prove that Hamas is an Islamic national movement who will never sell its constants.
6- Concerning, Hamas – Israeli indirect negotiations, Egypt who insisted to be the mediator failed to reach any result, though they threatened Hamas that Israel shall assassinate Hamas leaders if they dare to refuse the Israeli conditions. But they failed to domesticate Hamas, and Hamas refused to bow. The deal moved only forward when the German mediator stepped in. In other words, Egypt failed.

We hope they would reach a deal, and the Palestinian prisoners may be freed. BUT the whole word should remember, the those prisoner were arrested because they were resisting the occupation, while Shalit was captured while doing a military task to keep the occupation. There is a big difference.

Yes, I've noticed it too. When I saw the comments were dissappearing by the minute, and only 9 were left, the problem has been solved. I must have been some interference by the blogspot codes or such, because the widget has always worked properly.
He have always felt that Marwan Barghouti is viewed by Israel as an asset to be used when the time is right. He think that the time has arrived.
