Interior ministry does not rule out new aggression on Gaza due to world silence
[ 28/12/2009 - 10:07 AM ]
GAZA, (PIC)-- Ihab Al-Ghussain, the PA interior ministry spokesman in Gaza Strip, did not rule out a fresh Israeli aggression on the Strip due to the Arab and international silence.
He said that such inaction only encouraged Israel to commit more crimes against the Palestinian people and to deprive the people of Gaza of reconstructing what its war machine had destroyed.
Ghussain told Al-Quds TV channel on Sunday that Israeli leaders should stand trial for previous and current war crimes against the Palestinians.
He added that Israel never ceased its attempt to liquidate the Palestine cause thanks to the Arab and international silence.
The spokesman welcomed all international activities in support of the Palestinian people, and called on the Egyptian authorities to allow entry of the international aid convoy "Lifeline-3" into Gaza.
