GAZA, (PIC)-- The international Quds institution has urged Muslim scholars and notables to challenge the Israeli occupation authority's (IOA) ban on their entry into occupied Jerusalem and the holy Aqsa Mosque so to avoid isolating the Aqsa as the IOA wishes.
The institution in a statement on Sunday warned that accepting such orders would endorse the IOA right to control who enters the Mosque and who doesn't.
It said that the leaders' acceptance of such orders would weaken their ability to influence the masses in support of the Aqsa, adding that marginalizing the role of leaders is a fixed strategy by the IOA.
The institution predicted more Israeli stormings of the Aqsa Mosque in the next few weeks in a bid o create suitable circumstances for dividing the holy site and allowing Jews to pray inside it.
