AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Hakim Shalalde, municipality council member of Sa'ir village in Al-Khalil district, has been taken from his detention cell in the jails of the PA security in Ramallah to hospital after his condition worsened due to severe torture.
Relatives of Shalalde held the PA preventive security responsible or his deteriorating condition, saying that he was taken in good health two months ago.
They said that Shalalde is to undergo catheterization in Al-Ahli hospital on Monday.
Shalalde was released from PA security detention 20 days ago with a court ruling but was kidnapped a few hours later.
He was taken into PA custody only after ten days of his release form Israeli occupation jails where he served two years.
Meanwhile, a Hamas statement in the West Bank on Monday said that militias loyal to the PA government in Ramallah kidnapped six of the Movement's supporters in Nablus, Ramallah and Qalqilia districts.
It said that they included mayor of Qabalan village Yousef Al-Umla and others who were previously kidnapped by those militias.
It quoted sources close to detainee Abdul Halim Al-Basha as saying that he was carried to hospital a few days ago after seven months in detention due to worsening health condition.
In another development, family of Ayub Al-Qawasme, the Hamas leading operative in Al-Khalil district, denied that those militias had kidnapped him, adding that they took away his brother and son along with three others of the Qawasme family.
