He called, in a press conference, on all concerned parties to necessarily cooperate to address the travel issue as a humanitarian issue away from politics.
Dr. Hamad stressed that the question of crossings is one of the most important issues that affects the lives of Gaza citizens especially patients, holders of visas and foreign passports and students.
He pointed out that there are contacts with the Egyptian side in addition to the world health organization and the Red Cross to address the issue of crossings.
The Rafah crossing with Egypt has been closed for more than 42 days now despite the Egyptian decision to open it three days each month.
