GAZA, (PIC)-- The Movement of Hamas on Monday strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority (PA) for allowing some of its officials to sell Palestinian real estate in occupied Jerusalem to Israelis as treason against the Palestinian people.
Spokesman Fawzi Barhoum added that this treasonable act confers legitimacy on occupation in the Palestinian land and poses a real threat to the holy sites.
Barhoum stressed that this dangerous precedent entails an urgent move to confront those traitors who trade with Palestinian rights and constants.
In a related context, former PA intelligence officer Fahmi Al-Tamimi, who exposed Fatah sex scandal, revealed a new scandal related to the sale of Palestinian real estate to Israel.
Tamimi told a news conference held in Jerusalem that one of Mahmoud Abbas’s advisors tried to prevent him from protecting a building owned by the Palestine liberation organization (PLO) near the Aqsa Mosque which is known as “Aref real estate”.
He added that Abbas’s advisor tried to hinder his efforts to defend the building from secret attempts to sell it to Israel, pointing out that the building is now owned by international Zionist groups.
The PA officer also unveiled that PA officials in charge of the Jerusalem file hired a lawyer to hand over another Palestinian building located near the Aqsa Mosque at the pretext that its owners were living abroad.
