NABLUS, (PIC)-- The popular front for the liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has lashed out at the Fatah-controlled Ramallah authority for waging a war on resistance fighters.
Zaher Al-Shashtari, a PFLP leader, said in a statement in Nablus on Tuesday that preserving law and order does not mean arresting resistance fighters and stripping resistance of its weapons.
He said that armed struggle is the best option to confront the Israeli occupation authority's (IOA) violations and aggression on the unarmed Palestinian people.
A Hamas leader, for his part, said in a press release on Tuesday that Fatah should choose between politicized money and returning to the embraces of the people.
MP Ismail Al-Ashqar said that Fatah should return to its independent decision-making away from what he called the "third path" pursued by the illegitimate premier in Ramallah Salam Fayyad.
Another Hamas MP Mushir Al-Masri urged the Fatah authority to halt security coordination with the IOA.
Addressing a political seminar organized by Hamas on Monday night in Gaza city, Masri said that the road of negotiations trekked by the Fatah authority was the road toward failure and capitulation.
