Rehmat's World

Some of you must have read about this political incorrect joke: “How many Jews does it need to screw in a light bulb?” The most common answer to that question has been: “Six Million”. However, I am not writing this post to challenge ‘the answer’, but to Jacky Rowland’s piece in Al-Jazeera, April 27, 2010 (watch the video below), proving that Israelis practice racism even in operating the traffic signal-lights when it comes to Jew-settlers and the native Muslims and Christian Palestinians living under Zionist occupation.
The helplessness of both US government and Palestinians facing the Zionist regime to stop Judaising East Jerusalem and the West Bank under different tactic – was listed by British daily The Economist in an article, titled “A city that should be shared”, published on March 4, 2010 – which also mentioned the ‘Racist Israeli traffic-lights’: “One reason for the apparent futility of Palestinian dissent is the Israeli security barrier that bites into the West Bank and runs through chunks of East Jerusalem. It prevents most West Bank Muslims from reaching the city’s holy places and has cleft its Arab districts in two, leaving tens of thousands of Arab residents on the wrong side. Further impeding access, traffic lights flick green only briefly for cars from Palestinian districts while staying green for cars from Jewish settlements for minutes. And Israel’s interior ministry is stripping ever more East Jerusalem Palestinians of residency papers. In 2008 nearly 4,600 lost them, 20 times the previous years’ average…….”
Well, some people may argue that it could be another Iranian ploy to drag the upcoming USrael sanctions for its on-going nuclear program. Some of these people don’t believe either that European Jew terrorists had expelled 700,000 Natives in order to establish a Jewish colony in Palestine in 1948. Since then, Israelis, allegedly, have been using some very novel terrorist tactics, such as, poisoning water wells, super rats, armed Jew strippers, poisoned candies, hormone-laced gums, etc. as claimed by Fatah-controlled newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida in 2008. Israeli columnist Amira Hass told us another trick played by Israel Occupation Force (IOF) to terrorize the natives. A Jew settler would put a “protest tent” adjacent to an Arab Bedouin herdsman’s tent on Bedouin land. When he complains to Israeli authority – IOF will come; ask both Bedouin and the crook settler to leave and declares Bedouin’s land as “a closed military zone”.
Gordon Duff, Senior Editor Veteran Today:”When it comes to the issue of Israel’s ‘illegal settlements’ in Occupied Palestine, dissent is permissible so long as it’s limited to criticism of territory yet to be colonized. It’s as ludicrous as trying to appease a psychopath with: “Please, Mr. Psychopath! Please stop there! When is enough enough?!” It’s never enough. They cannot be appeased. Once Israel has its flag in the ground, woe betide the politician who looks to the past. The world leader who hits closest to the mark is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He reminds everybody from time to time that the ENTIRE settlement of Israel is illegal, immoral and a curse upon the Middle East. And for that, Israeli politicians want to exterminate him and, we must assume, countless Iranian civilians…….”
