Nazek Hariri Congratulates Sayyed Nasrallah on Liberation Day
20/05/2010 Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah received a congratulation letter from the part of the widow of late former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, Nazeq Hariri, in the occasion of the Resistance and Liberation Day.
"In this agreeable occasion, I can't but remember PM Martyr Rafiq Hariri who defended as much as he could Lebanon's right in ending occupation and set one way for peace that passes by a fair solution to the Middle East Conflict," Hariri said in her letter.
"In February 14, 2005, PM martyr Rafiq Hariri offered his life for the peace and was martyred for the sake of the free, sovereign and independent Lebanon, for the principles of democracy, justice, moderation," the former PM's widow went on to say.
"Today, in such a sensitive stage in Lebanon and the region, we became in urgent need for commitment to the gains of our long struggle and the major heritage of PM Martyr Rafiq Hariri, your son martyr Hadi as well as all martyr heroes who sacrificed their own lives to defend the land," she said addressing Sayyed Nasrallah.
She concluded by expressing hope this glorious day would be an opportunity to strengthen our commitment to our land and to safeguard security and peace by consolidating our national unity and putting aside everything that could divide Lebanese.
