The Israeli Authorities deported Saturday a Palestinian resident of the West Bank to Jordan after the army claimed he was illegally staying in the country.
Resident Morad Suleiman Zahda, 27, from Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank was expelled to Jordan.
Zahda, a Palestinian native, entered the country using a visitors’ visa ten year ago.
A deportation order was issued against him after he was kidnapped and detained by the army.
The deportation falls under a new Israeli “law” regarding dozens of thousands of Palestinians as “illegal immigrants” and granting the army, occupying Palestine, the power to expel them.
The Israeli legislations which came into effect in April grants the army the power to
deport thousands of Palestinians from the West Bank to the Gaza Strip and to Arab countries.
Under the new law, which is illegal in nature and violates the International Law, any person who entered the West Bank and stayed without a permit from Israel would be regarded as conducting a criminal act and could be sentenced to seven years in prison.

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The settlement activity in occupied Jerusalem whether planning or building would continue unabated as they were in the past 43 years, Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu's media adviser Nir Hefetz said.
He said in a radio interview on Monday that the planning and construction would be carried out in a way evading any "political confusion".
Meanwhile, an Israeli society dealing with citizens' rights said that Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem are the target of deliberate discrimination and neglect.
It said in a report on Sunday that 60% of those Jerusalemites are living below the poverty line, noting that 50% of second school students drop out of schools and join the black market due to the economic conditions and worsening educational conditions.
In another development, the "Save the Valley" society revealed that the Israeli occupation authority was starting construction work in a settlement in northern Jordan Valley.
It said that big quantities of wood and cement were seen heading to that settlement along with a big number of workers.
