AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Three Palestinians were left with bruises and wounds on Sunday morning in clashes which took place between extremist Zionist settlers and the residents of a village east of Yatta of Al-Khalil district.

Local sources in Yatta said that a large number of settlers have attacked the village, broken into homes, and assaulted local village residents.

Sources added that fierce confrontations raged between villagers and the attacking settlers after they assaulted and severely beat Ruqya Rib'ee, a pregnant Palestinian woman. She was taken to a hospital in Al-Khalil after the incident.

Two youths from Rib'ee's family were also bruised and wounded in the confrontation between villagers and the settlers. A settler was also wounded in his head and thereafter taken to a hospital in Beersheba.
