GAZA, (PIC)-- Islamic Jihad said that the Egyptian authorities had released two of its members held in Cairo while ten others were still in custody.
Sheikh Khader Habib, a Jihad leader in Gaza, said in a statement to the PIC on Friday that Hamza Hamid and Obeid Al-Gharaballi have been released following many contacts with the Egyptian authorities to close this "painful file".
He hoped that all Palestinian detainees held in Egypt for non-criminal charges would be released the soonest.Both Jihad activists were detained at Cairo international airport 45 days ago on their way back to Gaza Strip from a trip abroad.
