GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya has said that the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for the past four years was about to end.
He told a ceremony for a new graduation batch in the Islamic University in Gaza city on Monday evening that steadfastness and insisting on strategic positions was a successful policy.
The premier pledged not to give up on this strategy, describing the other option of negotiations and satisfying the American administration as a failed strategy.
Gaza was the target of a three-pronged attack: military, political, and economic with the aim of breaking its determination and forcing positions in addition to weakening the morale of the Palestinian people into re-considering the resistance strategy, Haneyya said.
However, Gaza's resoluteness made the battle end in favor of the Palestinian people and put the Israeli occupation authority in a political and ethical crisis as lifting the siege has turned into an international demand, the premier underlined.
