RAFAH, (PIC)-- Tens of Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip staged a sit-in demanding reconstruction of their destroyed homes in Rafah city south of the Gaza Strip.
The sit-in organized by the democratic front for the liberation of Palestine (DFLP) asked UNRWA to speed up efforts to reconstruct their homes destroyed by the Israeli war machine during the war on Gaza.
Ziyad Garghon, the DFLP politburo member, said that UNRWA is the only party allowed to reconstruct what the Israeli occupation had destroyed and extend assistance to Palestinian refugees.
He asked the agency to live up to its promises and to accelerate the reconstruction process before the winter season starts.
