Ramahi: The Palestinian people accept no less than removal of occupation

WEST BANK, (PIC)-- Secretary of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Dr. Mahmoud Ramahi said in a press statement on Tuesday that Israeli Minister of Security Moshe Arens’s proposal to provide West Bank residents with Israeli IDs and other rights and privileges under Israeli rule is further evidence of the foolishness of the two-state solution endorsed by Mahmoud Abbas.
“Our people seek their historical rights and national principles, and will accept no less than expulsion of the (Israeli) occupation and establishment of an independent state,” Al-Ramahi said.
He added, “Our people seek freedom and independence, not just bribes made in the form of health and education services to give up historical rights.”
The Palestinian people aspire to end occupation, place sanctions on perpetrators, and gain independence, not to be governed by an occupying force, noted the MP, stressing that the Palestinian people reject such ideas and will not back down from one iota of their land, rights, or holy sites.
