Sheikh Qassem: We're Dealing with STL with Accuracy
14/07/2010 Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said the party would deal with accuracy with the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
"We have decided as a party to deal with the issue of the international tribunal with accuracy," his eminence told Lebanese daily Al-Binaa. "If it was politicized then we will have a stance. If it was judicial based on tangible evidence then we will have another stance."
"We are not accused either as people or as a party," Sheikh Qassem stressed.
Sheikh Qassem, meanwhile, said that that the Zionist enemy is incapable of achieving a victory in any possible aggression against Lebanon.
Regarding the latest clash between the UNIFIL and Southern residents, Sheikh Qassem considered that a certain country whose forces serve in South Lebanon, aimed at achieving accomplishments through their presence, and is more likely trying to please Israel.
Sheikh Qassem reassured Hezbollah's commitment to resolution1701, emphasizing that the Lebanese army is the one in charge and the UNIFIL forces assist it in achieving the resolution's goals in the region.
