RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Husam Badran, a Palestinian leader imprisoned in Israeli jails, has said that Palestinian captives in Israeli jails receive the holy month of Ramadan in full determination for freedom and great resoluteness to be reunited with their children and families.
He also highlighted the miserable conditions the Palestinian captives are living in Israeli prisons, explaining that many of them live Ramadan inside solitary confinement, and others like captive Nael Al-Barghouthi receives it for the 30th successive year in jail.
He also underscored that captives missed they days where they used to join their families during Ramadan around one table for breaking their fast, they missed the Taraweeh prayers in local mosques, and they missed the smiles of Palestinian children in the streets of Palestine.
Badran called on the Palestinian people to rally behind the Palestinian resistance and not to be deceived by the mirage of peace with the Israeli occupation that certain Palestinian and Arab parties are trying to market among the Palestinian people.
At least 10,000 Palestinian captives have been detained in Israeli jails, many of them for decades, making their issue one of the top issues for Hamas Movement and other Palestinian resistance factions as well as the entire Palestinian people.
