[ 29/09/2010 - 05:59 PM ] OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- MP Mustafa Al-Barghouthi, the secretary general of the Palestinian national initiative party, said that the Israeli higher court ruling allowing expulsion of tens of Palestinian families from occupied Jerusalem's neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah was a "serious, racist" decision.
He said in a statement on Tuesday that legalizing the expulsion by the highest Israeli judicial authority was a "very grave" step, and "rings an alarm bell on future of the Palestinians in the holy city".
Barghouthi called for halting negotiations with Israel, which, he said, had turned into a cover for settlement expansion and Judaization of Jerusalem.
