GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian government headed by premier Ismail Haneyya reiterated the importance of not ceasing the efforts to bring Israeli official to international courts, and end Gaza siege and Israel's daily violations in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

In a statement following its weekly cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the government strongly denounced the right-wing Israeli government for its persistence in making racist laws against the Palestinians such as the citizenship law and the national priority law.

It said Israel's racist policies entail Arab and Islamic moves, and international intervention to protect the rights of the Palestinian natives in their own lands occupied in 1948, and the Palestinian refugees' right of return.

The government condemned the Palestinian authority's embassy in Turkey for distributing a brochure illustrating that the area of the Palestinian state is only 6, 000 square kilometers and its borders are "Israel", Egypt and Jordan, describing it as serious falsification of history.

The government also denounced Andrew Whitley, the UNRWA director in New York, for making remarks against the Palestinian refugees' right to return to their homes, stressing that this right cannot be annulled by prescription and no party or an international institution is entitled to invalidate it.

It warned of the presence of such ideas in the ranks of those who should help the Palestinian refugees and called on the UNRWA to relieve Whitley of his duties as an official in charge of refugees' affairs.

The statement pointed out to a number of decisions taken by the cabinet that would help alleviate some of difficulties faced by the Palestinians in Gaza during their daily lives.

GAZA, (PIC)-- Senior Hamas official Dr. Salah Bardawil said racist remarks by Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni that the objective behind the Gaza siege was to take Hamas out of power confirms that the Gaza Strip blockade is political and intended to force the Palestinians to renounce their democratic choice and back down on their rights.

Commenting on reports issued by Israeli sources confirming that an Israeli officer working as interim coordinator of government activities in the territories has been for the three years Hamas took office employing mathematic formulas to tighten control on food and basic products allowed into the Gaza Strip, Bardawil called on human rights groups to denounce Israel for its collective punishment of the Palestinians over their democratic choice.

Bardawil also called on groups whose relations have been normalized with Israel to stop normalization of relations and exert pressure to liberate the Palestinians and end their suffering.

The Hamas leader called on Fatah to immediately stop security cooperation with the fascist Israeli government, stressing that security coordination forms a suitable environment for Israeli violations.

The Ha’aretz newspaper reported Tuesday that an Israeli officer working as interim coordinator of government activities in the territories has been for three years employing mathematic formulas to tighten control on food and basic products allowed into the Gaza Strip to ensure that the foodstuff was no more and no less than what Israel approved.
