[ 30/10/2010 - 07:44 AM ] OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- The German intelligence is disappointed at the way Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu was managing the negotiations over the prisoners exchange deal with Palestinian resistance, a Hebrew daily reported.
Yediot Ahronot quoted German sources on Friday as saying that the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit would not be released soon, and the news reports in Israel about progress in his file were not correct. They said that rather the contrary is true.
The sources said that only a miracle could bring Shalit back home soon.
The paper noted that German intelligence officials were severely critical of Netanyahu after the talks came to a halt by the start of this year, adding that his acts led to the current deadlock in the issue.
The sources said that apparently Netanyahu did not do enough to convince his mini cabinet over achieving progress in the issue and probably he was "satisfied" with his actions in a bid to attain internal interests.
