15/11/2010 The Special Tribunal for Lebanon has violated everything, including privacies, in the country…
Nothing seems to be new. But, when some Lebanese official parties turn to be “collaborators” in such extreme violations, question marks must be raised.
In this context, Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar revealed on Monday that the Lebanese Internal Security Forces’ intelligence bureau has submitted a "top secret" report on Hezbollah to the United Nations investigation committee probing the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri.
According to the daily, the submitted report includes "important" information related to tracking down and collecting data on Hezbollah leaders published in 2005 as well as persons believed by the intelligence bureau to be members of the security apparatus within Hezbollah.
Al-Akhbar said that the report includes a "well-documented" effort to create a vision for the Resistance's military and security organizational structure, in addition to a detailed report about the telecommunications' issue that was handed over to the international investigation committee which was headed by Judge Serge Brammertz at the time.
The Lebanese daily said the 28-page report, a copy of which was made available to the newspaper, contains 5502 words, and was properly divided into seven chapters. It has been classified as "top secret," the daily added.
