Poll: Israelis and Palestinian don’t trust each other

Posted on November 4, 2010 by rehmat1|

According to the Zionist think tank World Public Opinion.Org. (University of Maryland), several polls conducted in the last few months show that though majority of Israelis and Palestinian want to see a peaceful settlement of their disputes – both distrust each other and are pessistic that negotiations between the two parties conducted on behest of Washington will result in a durable peace between the Jew occupiers and the native Muslim and Christian Palestinians.

According the authors the main reason for this mistrust is Palestinian Resistance, Hamas, which was elected by a majority votes in 2006 under an internationally monitored election – and the Jewish settlers who are sponsored by the Zionist regime and settled on lands stolen from the Natives in order to establish a demographic Jewish majority in the entire occupied Palestine. Interestingly, the study forget to mention the second largest Islamic resistance group, the Islamic Jihad.
The study also wrongly report that both parties want a stronger US role in Israel-Palestinian mediations, even though both parties consider the US as an ‘unfair mediator’. One doesn’t need a PhD to understand that all US administrations since 1948 have committed themselves to defend the Jewish occupation of Palestine more than they would defend the US. Washington has pumped-in over US$3 trillion into Israel economy plus US$3 billion annual military aid and have used over 48 UNSC vetoes to protect Israel from international condemnation – more than what Washington has used to protect American interests.

The study also state that there is a growing consensus among Middle East observers that Washington will have to present Israel and Palestinian a viable ‘two-state’ plan including the basic parameters resolving the most critical issues, such as, borders, settlements, Jerusalem, refugees, compensation and security of the future Palestinian State.

Anyone, who has followed the past history of the Zionist regime from some object sources, would realize that extremists within the Jewish communities will never accept any of those issues to let the future Jewish/Palestinian generations live in peace.

An earlier study conducted in March 2010 by Harry S. Truman Institute at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem – found out that 60% of the Israeli Jews who took part in the Poll – were against the new Jewish settlements. They’re in favour of dismantling most

The study was conducted jointly by Professor Jacob Shamir from Israel’s Department of Communication and Journalism and Professor Khalil Shikaki from Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR).
The real obstacle in resolving the Middle East conflict is – the Zionist regime and the Western Zionist Occupied Governments (ZOG). The ZOGs have to realize that they’re driving their own countries to bankruptcy for the sake of an artificial state – a western colonial experiment disguised as a Jewish homeland, which like the other colonial powers, will vanish sooner or later. If these ZOGs really want to save Israel, they have no choice but talk to the elected regional players (Hamas, Hizbullah, Iran and Turkey). The western culture of regime-change has failed in the Middle East. Now, it is the age of Islamist and nationalist movements in the region.
