15/12/2010 Another achievement in the conflict with the Israeli enemy was achieved on Wednesday…
According to a statement issued by the Lebanese Army Command, the military dismantled two "espionage devices" on Wednesday that Israel had placed on top of two of the country's mountains, acting on an alert from the Resistance.
The spying devices were found on Mount Sannine, northeast of Beirut, and
the Barouk Mountain, east of the capital.
The statement said that a specialized unit within the Lebanese Army has dismantled an espionage and surveillance system planted by the Israeli enemy in the Sannine region. The statement added that a specialized unit within the Lebanese Army was also dismantling another, more complicated, espionage and surveillance system in the Barouk region.
The statement said the device on Mount Sannine consisted of visual emission and reception parts. The second device was "more complicated," it added, without elaborating.
“The army successfully dismantled the espionage systems after being tipped off by Resistance sources,” the army’s statement pointed out.
On December 3, the Israeli army detonated two of its spy devices in southern Lebanon, slightly injuring two passers-by, after the Islamic Resistance uncovered their location near the coastal city of Tyre.
