Hamas calls US-Blackwater deal political 'fall' for Fatah
DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Hamas expressed its utmost objection to the US's hiring of the infamous Blackwater firm for security services in the West Bank, calling the move a suspicious step to protect Israel and Fatah security agencies and persecute resistance fighters.
"We emphasize that our Palestinian land is not an arena for the criminals of that infamous company, who committed anti-humanitarian crimes and scandals in Iraq and Afghanistan and killed hundreds of innocent civilians."
Hamas called on the Abbas-Fayyad authority to review their positions on the firm's services in the West Bank before it's too late. Hamas called the Fatah-controlled authority's silence over the US State Department's move a new political "fall", an escape from national responsibility, and disregard of the Palestinians' security and honor.
