Fath and Mubarak

Fath and Mubarak

Ayman sent me this: "I have many friends from Fateh-in the glorious state of Ramallah-(normal people, not leaders) and most of them are not happy about Egyptian revolution, they have brainwashed their own brains that it is the Mosad and Muslims Brotherhood (I don’t know how they can fit together) whom are behind what is going on in Egypt, you can check their official forum (biggest Fateh community on the internet) and read some of the funny posts and comments there:
There is also a message that is been circulated in pro-Fateh websites to call for Karama Revolution (inspired by the Egyptian revolution which is Mosad-Muslims Brotherhood plot!) on 11-2-2011 in Gaza to revolt and overthrow the “regime” there!!!…

It is sad to see such political stupidity among what is supposed to be one of the biggest Palestinian factions……

Wish you good health, and I hope we’ll see Hosni soon in the Air (as I think even Saudi Arabia won’t accept him this time – there are many Egyptians working there, it is dangerous for him)."

Abbas: "Hosni; I got your back!"

On the West Bank, it was a very different story:
[P]olice quickly dispersed more than 100 people who gathered in downtown Ramallah in solidarity with the Egyptian people calling for Mubarak's resignation, freelance journalist Mohammed Jaradat said.
Police detained him and three other people, Jaradat said, including a cameraman whose footage was confiscated. Some protesters said police roughed them up.
The incident came hours after a smaller pro-Mubarak demonstration in the same spot.
A reporter from The Associated Press saw about 10 protesters wait for cameramen and photographers to set up their gear, then chant support for Mubarak. They also called Egyptian pro-democracy advocate Mohamed ElBaradei a "coward and "an American collaborator."
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has reportedly instructed his security chiefs to clamp down on anti-Mubarak demonstrations.

  1. "Hamm Yadhahak Wa Hamm Yebki/A matter that makes you laugh and a matter that makes you cry", my mother used to say.

Reading your article, while being busy covery the revolution in Egypt and blogging for Palestine, I just burst out laughin. It was refrehing.

I visited the said website, and I regret to say that I find them all to be mentally retarded. Shi'araat, shi'araat/slogans, empty slogans, retarded slogans. and even their Arabic style stinks.
