Abbas’s militiamen disperse Palestinian young protesters

BETHLEHEM, (PIC)-- Abbas’s militiamen dispersed on Thursday afternoon a group of young boys who gathered near the Dome of Rahil at the northern entrance to the southern Wes Ban city of Bethlehem.

Eyewitness said that a group of young boys gathered in a spontaneous protest to mark the 2002 invasion of the city by IOF. They marched towards an IOF roadblock on the road leading to Jerusalem.

Protesters clashed with the occupation troops where they young boys threw stones and empty bottles to which the occupation soldiers responded with teargas canisters and rubber-coated bullets.

The witnesses added that Abbas’s militiamen on a number of vehicles hurried to the scene of the protest and dispersed the demonstration, the boys responded by throwing stones at the militiamen.

The militiamen then formed a wall to prevent protesters from clashing with the occupation troops.
