[ 17/03/2011 - 11:36 AM ] OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Palestinian young men have launched Facebook pages calling for a million-man march heading from Bethlehem and Ramallah towards occupied Jerusalem.
The march will coincide with Earth Day at the end of March.
They called on Muslim and Christian Palestinians to break Israeli restrictions and pray in the Aqsa Mosque and Church of Resurrection, as well as to march demanding an end to the Israeli occupation.
Marchers would head for Jerusalem city from Ramallah to the north and Bethlehem to the south.
March organizers called on media, rights groups, Palestinian factions and the masses to participate in this ”historic” event.
They said the demand of entering the Palestinian city of Jerusalem and praying there will remain as long as Israel maintains restrictions.
