OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Ir Amim society said the Israeli planning and building committee in occupied Jerusalem would discuss on Monday a plan to build 942 housing units beyond the green line to expand Gilo settlement.
The new plan will expand Gilo settlement to route 60 or what is known as Anfak street.
The society added that this plan is aimed at connecting Gilo settlement with the woods in the southwest, a Palestinian area belonging to the Palestinian village of Walaja, in order to provide a natural atmosphere for the settlers.
The planning committee will also discuss the building of 1,608 housing units in settlements beyond the green line next week.
